Description
This native copper specimen is from the Milpillas Mine in Cuitaca Mun. de Santa Cruz, Sonora, Mexico. The Milpillas Mine is famous for the exceptional suite of secondary copper minerals found there but it has also produced some exceptional native copper pieces such as this piece with its spinel twinned, elongated and hoppered crystals. This piece measures 2 x 1 3/8 x 5/16 inches or 51 x 35 x 7 mm.
