These native copper crystals are from the Gull Rock or Grand Marias Vein, Eagle Harbor, Keweenaw County, Michigan, USA. This is an underwater vein or fissure from which collectors recovered several hundred kilograms of crystallized copper specimens. This piece has a box works type form with various crystal habits present. It formed within a vein and has some contact surfaces front and rear.. It measures approximately 1 1/2 x 1 1/4 x 78 inches or 38 x 32 x 22 mm.
