Description
This native copper is from the White Pine Mine at White Pine, Ontonagon County, Michigan, USA. This mine dates back to 1880. It produced four billion pounds of copper including many crystal copper specimens for collection. This piece is naturally free standing. It contains large well defined crystals in an aesthetic formation. There are terminated crystal surfaces on all sides and edges. It displays well from all sides. This piece measures approximately 3 x 1 1/2 (at base) x 1 3/8 (at base) inches or 76 x 38 x 35 mm.
