This pyromorphite is from the Brown’s Prospect in Rum Jungle, Batchelor, Coomalie, Northern Territory, Australia. This prospect contains 59 different mineral species including pyromorphite. It is a lead phosphate that contains the elements Pb, P, O, and Cl. Browns Prospect is an older location famous for its combined mineral pieces that contain a mix of gold to yellow pyromorphite, botryoidal malachite ( Cu, C, O and H ) and crystals of white cerussite ( Pb, C, and O ). This piece can be displayed from several sides and angles. it measures 3 5/8 x 2 5/8 x 1 5/8 inches or 92 x 67 x 41 mm.
