These quartz covered chrysocolla stalactites are from the Ray mine, Scott Mountain, Pinal County, Arizona, USA. This large open pit operation contains 55 different minerals including the copper silicate chrysocolla. These stalactites consist of a emerald green chrysocolla that is covered with a thin layer of chalcedony. The combination of the two minerals created the baby-blue stalactites. This piece measures 30 x 36 x 16 mm.
