Description
This brazilianite is from the Telirio Claim in Linopolis in Divino das Laranjeiras, Minas Gerais, Brazil. This area is in the Aimores Pegmatite District and contains several pematites that contain phosphate minerals like childrenite, eosphorite and brazilianite. Brazilianite contains the elements Na, Al, P, O and H. This specimen consists of a cleavelandite feldspar with mica matrix that hosts several gem-like brazilianite crystals and crystal clusters. The crystals have a bright glass luster. This piece measures approximately 7 x 6 x 4 inches or 177 x 128 x 102 mm.
