This brazilianite is from the Telirio Claim in Linopolis in Divino das Laranjeiras, Minas Gerais, Brazil. This area is in the Aimores Pegmatite District and contains several pematites that contain phosphate minerals like childrenite, eosphorite and brazilianite. Brazilianite contains the elements Na, Al, P, O and H. This specimen consists of a cleavelandite, feldspar, and brazilianite crystal matrix that hosts a pair of translucent to transparent brazilianite crystals. The crystals have a bright glass luster. This piece measures 1 5/16 x 1 x 13/16 inches or 33 x 25 x 20 mm.
